Meet the Presenters

Glenda Walker

Glenda Walker

Glenda Walker is a former VP of Commercial Banking with over 25 years of retail and commercial banking experience. She left Corporate America to form Relationship Management Solutions, Inc. where she now has the ability to work more closely with small business clients from an advisory level; giving her the ability to coach, educate and find the best banking/lending solutions to fit my client’s needs.

Glenda's goal is to help small business clients sustain and grow by accessing, evaluating, and recommending the best financial solutions to fit their needs. During this process, she listens and develops a plan to achieve the business and owners' financial goals. She also educates clients on the loan process, underwriting requirements, cash flow, credit, financial management, and efficient banking practices to achieve their financial goals.

She enjoys sharing knowledge and educating not only her clients but the community on various financial literacy topics through organizations such as Operation Hope, Small Business Administration, and Religious Organizations; topics include credit, budgeting & savings, and access to capital.

Glenda is an active member of the community currently serving as a board member of Southwest Ecumenical Emergency Assistance Center (SWEEAC) which supports homeless and underemployed families in South West Atlanta.

She holds an MBA in Business Administration and International Business. She's helped 13 businesses with bank financing of $2,468,750 in her first year of business! That's not including the other business that she directed to alternative lending sources because they didn't qualify for conventional bank loans.

Glenda is also the co-host of the podcast FYI with Daniel and Glenda: Two business savvy entrepreneurs who are not afraid to tell it like it is. Friends for over 15 years, they give entrepreneurs advice and tell stories of their experiences while adding some good humor to the mix.

Tamika Stafford

Tamika Stafford is a Business Access Advisor with U.S. Bank. She has over 15 years of experience in financial services, spending over ten years as a consumer and small business lender. She currently facilitates financial education sessions for micro and small business owners, providing bank solutions and other relevant resources.

Tamika just relocated to Charlotte from Atlanta, where she sat on the board for the Atlanta Business League, WEOP (Women’s Entrepreneurial Opportunity Project), Georgia Micro Enterprise Network, Atlanta Black Chambers Corporate Advisory Chair, and was a member of the Programming of the Committee Greater Women’s Business Council. She is a Charlotte Certified SCORE Mentor and is looking to impact the Charlotte small business community in a meaningful way.

Kimberly Edwards

CDFI Team Leader, BEFCOR (Business Expansion Funding Corp)

Kimberly brings 20 years of combined working experience in CDFI, Small Business, Workforce Development, and national Business Management to the BEFCOR team.

She began her career at Self-Help Credit Union in North Carolina, supporting economic development in mission based small business lending, mortgage lending, and affordable residential real-estate development, where she developed a foundation in asset building to under-served communities. She later worked for the City of New York in the Small Business Services division on Workforce and Business development initiatives in all boroughs of New York.

Kimberly holds a Master’s degree in Social Enterprise Administration, and a Minor in Business Administration from Columbia University in New York, where she was selected as a Management Fellow. Upon graduation she served the City of New York, and was selected and completed the City Management Academy for emerging leaders. She is also a proud local Alum of Queens University.

Ramses Meijer

GM, Lending Tree Marketplace

Ramses Meijer is currently active in the role as General Manager for LendingTree’s Marketplace, with a primary focus on facilitating the customer-to-lender relationships in both the consumer (personal loans, credit cards, small business) and home verticals. Prior to joining LendingTree in September 2019, Ramses spent six years at Expedia, with the last three years there quarterbacking the US growth brands of Travelocity, Orbitz and CheapTickets. He and his family recently moved to Charlotte from Chicago!

Eileen Joyce

US Small Business Administration, Lead Economic Development Specialist

Eileen has been the Lead Economic Development Specialist at the NC District office for 35 years. Her job is to help folks start and grow successful small businesses by encouraging them to seek out business counseling and sound financial options. She accomplishes this with program management of North Carolina SCORE, the North Carolina Small Business & Technology Development Center, and 5 Women’s Business Centers. In addition to these programs, Eileen works with the NC Small Business Center Network’s 58 Small Business Centers.

John O'Neill

John O’Neill

Business Banking Relationship Manager

John O’Neill has over a decade of experience working in Business Banking and has been with U.S. Bank since 2014. He’s focused on serving high-value business relationships that consist of companies with revenues between ($2.5M-$25M) as well as real estate investors. 

At the end of 2019, John relocated from Minneapolis, MN to Charlotte to help lead U.S. Bank’s efforts in Business Banking. 

When not at work, you’ll find him with his wife and three kids and most likely outside. He also enjoys running, hiking, and escaping to the beach.
