How has SCORE Charlotte been beneficial to you and your business?

SCORE Charlotte helped me take an idea and turn it into a very successful business. The mentorship program is something that can't be found anywhere else and having SCORE-sponsored workshops and seminars provided information that fast-tracked me getting started and got me to where I am today.

How has having a SCORE Charlotte mentor helped support your new or existing business?

The SCORE Charlotte team is amazing. They were able to guide me through developing a business plan, and financial model, and connected me with resources I wouldn't have known about otherwise. They were an integral part of my success in starting and growing my business. Having regular check-ins, deadlines, and both in-person meetings and calls helped keep me on track. Now, five years after starting my business, I still keep in touch with my mentors to check in, provide updates, and lean on them for continued expertise and guidance.

What would you say to other entrepreneurs who are thinking about using SCORE?

SCORE Charlotte is a resource that every entrepreneur should take advantage of, regardless of whether you're starting a business or growing an existing business. Their collective industry experience, knowledge, and resources are unparalleled.
