Eileen Joyce, US Small Business Administration, Lead Economic Development Specialist
Eileen has been the Lead Economic Development Specialist at the NC District office for 35 years. Her job is to help folks start and grow successful small businesses by encouraging them to seek out business counseling and sound financial options. She accomplishes this with program management of North Carolina SCORE, the North Carolina Small Business & Technology Development Center, and 5 Women’s Business Centers. In addition to these programs, Eileen works with the NC Small Business Center Network’s 58 Small Business Centers.

John O'Neill, Business Banking Relationship Manager, US Bank
John O’Neill has over a decade of experience working in Business Banking and has been with U.S. Bank since 2014. He’s focused on serving high value business relationships that consists of companies with revenues between ($2.5M-$25M) as well as real estate investors.
At the end of 2019, John relocated from Minneapolis, MN to Charlotte to help lead U.S. Bank’s efforts in Business Banking.
When not at work, you’ll find him with his wife and three kids and most likely outside. He also enjoys running, hiking, and escaping to the beach.

Kimberly Edwards, CDFI Team Leader, BEFCOR (Business Expansion Funding Corp)
Kimberly brings 20 years of combined working experience in CDFI, Small Business, Workforce Development, and national Business Management to the BEFCOR team.
She began her career at Self-Help Credit Union in North Carolina, supporting economic development in mission based small business lending, mortgage lending, and affordable residential real-estate development, where she developed a foundation in asset building to under-served communities. She later worked for the City of New York in the Small Business Services division on Workforce and Business development initiatives in all boroughs of New York.
Kimberly holds a Master’s degree in Social Enterprise Administration, and a Minor in Business Administration from Columbia University in New York, where she was selected as a Management Fellow. Upon graduation she served the City of New York, and was selected and completed the City Management Academy for emerging leaders. She is also a proud local Alum of Queens University.

Ramses Meijer, GM, Lending Tree Marketplace
Ramses Meijer is currently active in the role as General Manager for LendingTree’s Marketplace, with a primary focus on facilitating the customer-to-lender relationships in both the consumer (personal loans, credit cards, small business) and home verticals. Prior to joining LendingTree in September 2019, Ramses spent six years at Expedia, with the last three years there quarterbacking the US growth brands of Travelocity, Orbitz and CheapTickets. He and his family recently moved to Charlotte from Chicago!
